Well, I thought we might be fortunate enough to skip...well, not skip but maybe just skim over the terrible two's with Caroline, because she has been such a sweet little darlin and always so compliant............until now. Boy, that girl has some devil in her fo sho!! It started with these little tantrums she likes to throw on the floor. The typical flailing arms and kicking feet and high pitching screams one! All over a popcicle. The girl wakes up asking for popcicles. Our biggest battles have been over food! All she wants is JUNK! Popcicles and chips are her favorite foods. Last night at the dinner table, we sat down to eat and of course, she wouldn't eat her chicken & rice and corn. I decided to feed her myself and what did that munchkin do? She politely put both hands over her mouth and closed her eyes. And she sat there that way as long as I was holding the fork in front of her.
Yesterday morning we were outside playing and she decided she wanted to go inside, so I let her in and me and Brett stayed out on the deck and around the pool and I just kept watching her through the window. Pretty soon she came to the door and wanted to get out, so I sent Brett to the door to let her out and he says "She locked the door". I'm like "WHAT?!?!?!" Yes, she locked us out of the house. I was yelling through the window "TURN THE LOCK!" and "Turn that little knob, honey...turn it back" and she's just looking through the window smiling at us. She would just work the door knob back and forth and hang on it and look at us and smile. That went on for about 15 minutes then all of a sudden she reached up with those chubby little fingers and turned the lock. I think she knew how to do it the whole time, she was just enjoying the look of pure terror on my face as it was plastered against the glass and the shrieking noise coming out of my mouth.
Yep, I think we're in for it.

OH MY GOODNESS!!! NOT THAT BEAUTIFUL TAN ANGEL! ...*sigh* I guess we shoulda seen the "molly part of her" coming out soon lol :D :P
I cant believe she did that! And, judging by how smart she is in nursery, she knew good and well what she was doing...uuuuhhh ohhh**
Yes, I am sure she knew what she was doing! I thought you were going to say she was enjoying some chips or goodies all locked in by herself! A funny family story...Your Uncle Edward was very modest when he was a toddler. He went to change clothes once when Mom was outside and he locked her out. I am sure she had that same look in her face and screamed the same things. Aren't kids wonderful!
